Aims & Scope:

The use of digital technology in healthcare has progressed rapidly, creating new opportunities for enhancing patient care, operational efficiency and overall healthcare delivery. This seeks to showcase the groundbreaking research and solutions that tackle the changing issues in healthcare via the utilization of digital health technology.

This Issue focuses on multidisciplinary research examining the impact of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, block-chain technology, health informatics, and other digital advances on the transformation of healthcare. Areas of interest include (but are not limited to):

• AI-driven diagnostics and predictive analytics in clinical settings
• Big data and machine learning applications for personalized medicine
• IoT and wearable devices for remote patient monitoring
• Data privacy, cybersecurity and ethical considerations in digital health
• Telemedicine and digital therapeutics in chronic disease management
• Emerging digital health ecosystems and interoperability
• Interoperability, security, and efficiency of a blockchain-based health information system
• Mobile applications and ubiquitous devices in healthcare and lifestyle

The aim of this issue is to provide a complete platform for academics, physicians, and technology specialists to exchange ideas and innovations that improve the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of healthcare services. Through this cooperation, we want to facilitate the transition to data driven, patient-centred healthcare systems that can address the requirements of varied populations.We anticipate contributions from an international array of specialists, including original research papers, case studies, and thorough reviews, that will enhance the understanding and implementation of digital health technologies.

Article Processing Charge for publication in this special issue is completely free. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a double-blind peer-review process.

What to Know Before You Hit “Submit”

1. Why publish with Luminescience?

2. How does it cost for publishing in our journals?

While unlike most open access journals, which are free to readers but charge from authors for APC or publication fee, Luminescience has instituted a generous waiver policy for our journals till July31,2022, that means peer review, basic copyediting, typesetting for publication will be free for authors. Only manuscripts that need extensive English editing, translation, or figure/image optimization, cost will be charged for these extra services.

3. How do I find guidelines or instructions for authors for my specific journal?

Each Luminescience journal has its own manuscript Submission Guidelines. Go to the list of Luminescience Journals, select your target journal and view the journal page, in the top navigation bar, you can find Submission Guidelines.

4. When will I know if my article has been accepted?

Luminescience strictly follows a systematic editorial process embedding a quality control mechanism outlined by the COPE, the DOAJ, the OASPA, and the WAME. Manuscripts submitted to our journals will be scrutinized critically by the editorial and peer review. The working flow for each manuscript can be trackable via our submission system and our editors will inform the authors for any status updates for the next procedure.
