Benefits of Publishing in a Special Issue
Positive citation impact with increased visibility: As a special issue is a focused, timely and insightful collection thus it can attract more attention than regular issue. Articles published in a special issue will gain increased visibility and may be read more frequently by peers from your research field, which leads to active discussion and more citation of your work.
Faster publication with high efficiency: Articles accepted for publication in a special issue will be required to meet specific deadlines to keep the editorial process timely without a delay. Once accepted after peer review, each article will be published online on an individual basis to ensure high efficiency.
Quality control with a rigorous peer review: Special issue follows the same editorial supervision and peer review policies required for regular issue, which are rigorous and independent. Special issue articles should be reviewed by no fewer than two independent experts to ensure the quality, originality and novelty of the work published.
