Special Issue Description
This Special Issue aims to present recent advances in artificial intelligence technologies for complex decision-making, data analysis, and intelligent system development. Researchers, practitioners, and industry experts will be invited to contribute original studies on emerging methods, practical applications, and key challenges in AI-driven decision support and intelligent systems.
Artificial intelligence has become an essential foundation for modern decision-making systems. Machine learning, deep learning, large language models, knowledge graphs, reinforcement learning, multimodal information fusion, and intelligent agents are increasingly being used to support prediction, classification, optimization, recommendation, risk assessment, and resource allocation. These technologies enable intelligent systems to analyze heterogeneous data, identify complex patterns, generate actionable insights, and assist humans in making more accurate and efficient decisions.
The integration of artificial intelligence with decision analysis has created broad opportunities in finance, education, healthcare, cultural heritage, manufacturing, transportation, environmental management, and public services. Examples include financial forecasting and fraud detection, personalized education, intelligent healthcare support, industrial process optimization, smart transportation management, and data-driven policy analysis.
In addition to technical advances, the Special Issue will emphasize the responsible deployment of AI-driven systems. Explainability, fairness, privacy protection, security, reliability, human oversight, and ethical governance are essential for ensuring that intelligent systems can be safely and effectively applied in real-world decision environments.
